Review

This novel is set in 1960s Mississippi. A southern society girl called Skeeter (played by Emma Stone in the movie adaptation) comes back from college with dreams of being a writer. As part of her project she interviews the black women who take care of big families. Aibileen (played by Viola Davis) will talk at first. Then more women decide to contribute and Skeeter continues her project.
